New Park Hours

Do you like to stay at the parks late? Well, get ready because Disney World just extended its hours!

At Magic Kingdom, they have extended the time by 2 hours! Right now the park is closing at 9 pm but from May 8th to the 14th it’s closing at 11 pm. Also if you’re staying on property then there are days you can get extended evening hours on select nights from 11 pm to 1 am.

For Epcot, they’re staying open 30 minutes later from May 8th-14th with them closing at 9 pm those nights. This is because Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is opening up and this allows guests to stay there longer.

Hollywood Studios is also doing the same thing as Epcot where they’re staying open 30 minutes later through May 8th-14th and closing at 9 pm.

For Animal Kingdom the park is going to be opened from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm from May 8th-14th but from May 15th-19th it's going to be open from 8 am to 8 pm.

These are some things to keep in mind when you head to the parks these days because you can stay later and do more things throughout your day. Just remember that if you’re staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel you might be able to stay even later! This is something to call Disney about or talk to the front desk when you check-in.
